Don’t take us wrong – we like the looks of it, and the specs are nice with 67 hp, APTC slipper clutch, WP suspension and such (also includes ABS and weighs a whopping 145kg) but still. Did we really need another KTM 690?
The 701 vs 690 comparison is very close to our eyes, the 701 having a slightly bigger tank (14L vs 12L) but then again also weighs more by 5 kg. The seat looks like the Husqvarna concept bike and judging from the pictures (and insight of Supermotosweden.se) the front fender and rear parts have been tweaked or switched to new parts at least.)
Overall it looks like a great bike for getting back and forth to work right now, and well, that doesn’t sound that exciting so we’re hoping to have a go with it and test it out because right now we’re still looking for more (please give us the Husqvarna FS450 road legal and we will be quite!)
